Revolutionary Youth Movement (DGH) and Revolutionary Young Women (DGKH) have announced that their revenge units Şehîd Zulkuf Gezen and Şehîd Ayten Beçet set fire to two factories, three vehicles of fascists and an electricity transformer in April in retaliation for the increased isolation of Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan and to draw attention to the 15 Kurdish prisoners on death fast.

Their statement is as follows:

In April, in many districts of North Kurdistan and Turkey, our revenge units Şehîd Zulkuf Gezen and Şehîd Ayten Beçet carried out attacks against the increased isolation of Leader Abdullah Öcalan and to draw attention to the obstacles faced by the prisoners on death fast. Two factories, three vehicles owned by fascists and an electricity transformer were torched. As a result, the factories, vehicles and the transformer were completely destroyed and rendered useless.

Actions carried out by DGH and DGHK units in the month of April:

Batman- At 9:20PM on the 9th of April, on Pazaryeri Street, an electricity transformer with 300 connections was torched by our revenge unit Şehîd Ayten Beçet. The action caused millions of lira worth of damage to the electricity company and the repair work on the transformer lasted for hours.

Istanbul- On April 19th at 4:00AM on Gûmûşyaka street in Silivri district a vehicle was torched by our revenge unit Şehîd Zulkuf Gezen. The vehicle was completely destroyed. On April 22nd, a service vehicle was torched by our units on Bayrampasa Street in the Gûngor district. The service vehicle was completely destroyed and rendered unusable.

Bursa- On April 23rd at 2:00AM on Hamitler Street, a vehicle owned by a fascist was torched by our revenge unit Şehîd Ayten Beçet. The vehicle was rendered completely unusable by our action.

Denizli- On April 24th at 01:00AM on Zafer street in Merkez Efendi district a fabric factory was torched by our revenge unit Şehîd Zulkuf Gezen. As a result of the action, damage of 4 million lira was inflicted and the factory was rendered unusable. On April 27th in Korucuk Street in Pamukkale district, a manufacturing and retail factory was torched by our units. The factory was completely destroyed by the fire.
