Chile: Against forgetting and remorse – ¡Sebastian “Angry” Oversluij presente! (December 2019)
Already six years have passed since our anarchist comrade fell struck by the bullets of a security guard in an attempted bank expropriation on December 11, 2013.
From that day words of memory started to be written, allowing the life of the comrade to continue in anarchist action recalling the various tools that the comrade took up as weapons against power participating in musical projects, libraries, planning and taking part in direct action.
Today we know that his action and his memory are claimed beyond the close circles who shared his life with him throughout the years, a positive signal that defies forgetting and remorse. “Pelao Angry” is a comrade we miss. Perhaps he was with us in the midst of the present revolt, fighting the interests of power in a thousand ways. What we do know is that around the world his name resonates in barricades, books and the most varied initiatives of anarchist action.
Six years after his death in action, our choice remains to fuel our memory on the warpath against all authority.
