In many coutries around the world activists showed solidarity with prisoners on New Years Eve.

Every year anarchists and other leftwing activists protest on New Years Eve at prisons around the world against the prison system and to show solidarity with prisoners.

In Stuttgart’s Stammheim prison there are also political prisoners who are imprisoned on charges for §129: building or supporting a “terrorist“ organisation (Like for instance Kurdish PKK which is on the EU list of “terror“ organisations)
