On Friday 1st of July, some of us carried out a demo in solidarity with the teachers and insurgent population of Oaxaca outside the Mexican Embassy in London. Despite the ‘welcoming’ attitude of the mexican state’s lackies, who called on an armoured cop unit immediately after our presence came to their attention; we carried out our demonstration with relative success, handing out leaflets to passers by and people visiting the embassy. Actions like this will continue to happen until the very last political prisoner is liberated and the multi-faceted struggle of the striking teachers and people of Oaxaca is fulfilled!
Our solidarity and thoughts go out to the families and comrades of those murdered by the hand of the state in their valiant struggle against the legitimacy of the totalitarian, murderous Mexican state.
