Detention conditions seem to be a little less inhuman than the previous ones. The money orders that were sent to her and that blocked them for censorship reasons (?!) have finally been released after 27 days. It has more possibilities for socializing with the other inmates. He adds that rumor has it that the section [AS2, “High Surveillance 2”] of the L’Aquila in which she was held with Anna will be definitively closed, which would mean that at least a small result has been achieved. She complains about the disappearance of most of the mail she was sent, and this time it doesn’t refer to the censorship but to the mail that disappears during her journey to the destination (which we can also confirm from the outside: many of the letters and postcards to she never arrived and a whole packet of letters that Natascia’s father tried to get to Natascia’s companion disappeared into thin air). He suggests therefore to send the letters by registered letter [or by “post 1”, in Italy: it is a priority and therefore fast, but less expensive than the registered letter and above all it is traceable], because it is the only way to have the certainty that it was delivered. Asks, if possible, sending music on original CDs and books.
