A few days ago on the Croce Nera Anarchica website we published news of the attempted escape of anarchist comrade Davide Delogu from Sardinia, an attempt which concluded with machineguns pointed at his face. We learned the news from the telephone call that Davide has with his family every week.
Davide tells us that he’s been held in total solitary confinement since 1st May, and that article 14bis (six months of constant solitary confinement with censorship on all letters) is to be applied to him once again.
His escape attempt, Davide explains in a personal letter to me to which he attached a document, is a Direct Action within a campaign for self-liberation that he decided to launch in deed on 1st May.
Unconditional support to all the anarchist comrades who struggle with dignity without caring about the consequences.
Support to imprisoned anarchist comrade Alfredo Cospito’s hunger strike.
Support to the revolutionary anarchist choices of anarchist comrade Davide Delogu from Sardinia.

NOT LOOSE CANNONS (…PERHAPS…)
We are Anarchists in jail, some for years others for less, and each day we fight a war against domination, face to face with the enemy, inside their cages. We share refusal and contempt, we fight against the prison authority and its bureaucratic discipline every day.
So we are cannons that are not loose (for now…) whose deflagrations, as taught by recent and past events, create chaos, material damage and the breaking of prison logic (which has already been destroyed as we are anarchist!) By transmitting important vital stimuli of action inside a complex desolating quagmire, so as to live our own anarchy here and now!
As I continue to live it like a cannon that is not loose (…maybe…), I am opening in deed a campaign (for those who want to join, otherwise I’ll do it alone as I’ve always done) for self-liberation, one that starts from one’s self, one’s fears, from dogmatisms, indignations, chatter, compromises, bars, apathy and lack of solidarity, which outside these walls are too tangible and harmful to remain ‘indifferent’.
I don’t think there’s any need to further explain a dignified action carried out to take my life back in my hands.
Finally I want to send a strong embrace of struggle and solidarity to those arrested in operation “Scripta Manent”, a hug from a cannon that is not loose, given that I wrote to them all several times, with a response from only two comrades. (Davide is referring to the blocking of letters between him and the anarchist comrades in the AS2 unit. editor’s note)
