Genova - processo ai due anarchici accusati del ferimento del manager Ansaldo, Adinolfi

03.05.17: Today anarchist prisoner Alfredo Cospito begins a ten-days hunger strike against the censorship imposed to him by prosecutor Sparagna [in charge of op. “Scripta Manent”], which blocks almost the whole incoming and outgoing correspondence.

Alfredo asks all comrades outside to send books, magazines, letters and printed materials in general, in protest and in support of his strike.

05.05.17: From a letter we received from Alfredo that arrived yesterday (04.05.17) we have learned that the hunger strike he has been on since 03.05.17 will continue for 10 days in response to massive censorship that has been ongoing for a long time, including the blocking of nearly all outgoing and incoming mail as well as books, news etc sent by so many comrades.

In particular he wrote that the letters sent by one of the members of CNA (Anarchist Black Cross, Italy) have all been blocked, 7 out of 7 in the last month.

In his brief letter he also wrote that the censorship regime was renewed for another 3 months a month ago, but even heavier than previously since the investigation against him was closed.

Also, from what he has told us, in Rebibbia (a prison in Rome), the censorship is even worse.

He ended the letter with the slogan: “BREAK THE ISOLATION!”
