In the face of the impending closure of the high security prison, the libertarian and anarchist autonomous subversive prisoners today express the following:
1- According to information emanating from the jailers in recent weeks and before a series of events that indicate what we cannot ignore, the UEAS Special High Security Unit that includes the Maximum Security Section, the High Security Jail and the Jail of the wealthy Captain Yaber, will be closed for more than 4 months from October 10 for the remodeling of its facilities, clearly in order to re-found the punishment regime with which this unit was originally born 25 years ago.
It has been a fact that those who struggle and fight against Power in an unbreakable way have an obligatory destination to this place, since in addition, this confinement contains the clear revenge of the State for maintaining antagonistic practices of Offensive Resistance, as historical continuity of struggle for Total Liberation.
At the moment we are not sure about our temporary destiny, however we are clear that the aim is to keep ourselves under control and special restrictions and then return to the punishment regime they intend to impose.
2- We make a strong and clear call to break the fragmentation and the distances that exist or may exist between all those who have autonomous anti-carceral practices, as a perspective of struggle against the State, the Jail and Capital.
It is time for meetings without pettiness and with the manifest generosity of knowing that we face a new state attack that requires coordination and collective strength to resist.
It will be a fight that will take time because the manifest claim of power is to deepen our punishment and isolation in order to provoke revenge as a lesson and example for those who dare to rebel.
Our perspective of struggle and conviction clearly point to the destruction of prison society; therefore, we do not aspire to the freedom of prisoners because that would give them the conceptual privilege of calling capital democracy freedom, the normality of what exists. We aspire to the total demolition of prisons, so that there are no cages or confinement and along with it we embracethose who resist and attack all over the world in the same pulse, in the same beat of our insurgent hearts.
Our complicity is deepening today and therefore we call to take certain steps of generosity to face this complex moment ahead.
We salute Mauricio’s 17-year Resistance in the prisons of Brazil, those who assume with dignity imprisonment for various Anti-authoritarian actions in Argentina, the United States, Greece, Italy, Russia, Spain, France, Germany and in every corner of the planet in the practice of permanent and calculated attack on all structures of power, Capital and State.
We greet and embrace the Peñi and salute their struggle for self-determination.
To all the escapedwho mock the law.
To be attentive and to continue sowing complicity in constant struggle.
