We claim responsibility for the grenade attack against Kaisariani Police Station at dawn on Monday, 26/02 as a direct and first response to the unprecedented and violent kidnapping and transfer of comrade Konstantinos Giagtozglou from Korydallos Prison to Larissa Prison while he was already on hunger strike (since 21/02) in order to break his morale. This attempt by the state failed after the comrade escalated to a thirst strike on Sunday 25/02.
Our attack was carried out to add to and to escalate a diverse series of offensive actions in conjunction with the escalation of the strike and to connect the uprising in Korydallos Prison (Saturday 24/2) with a direct anarchist attack outside the walls. The State would do well to realize that whenever their hand is raised against an imprisoned anarchist then one of our own hands will rise to destroy the temples of dominance and shift the fear into the camp of authority.
Our action was not symbolic. It was aimed to hit at the heart of the repressive apparatus and to shatter the false veil of its security. Direct anarchist action attacks every power structure and attempts to restrict it. As long as you guard the targets of attacks, and as long as you guard your own stations we will be there to destroy them.
There is a beautiful contradiction in our actions. As we struggle to live free, we risk our own freedom. We are not seeking compromises or longer chains but the frontal clash with power. Through our attacks we liberate moments. We claim and win seconds of freedom, where your time freezes and ours begins. Where your security fails and you sink into fear.

PS: The attempt to silence the attack was done only to conceal the action of revolutionary solidarity with comrade Konstantinos Giagtozglou. This will convince us more to multiply our anger in the coming attacks. As for the ravens of the regime’s thugs who dare to degrade a revolutionary act, they can be sure that they will take the consequences.
