Buenos Aires, Argentina: Molotov Attack on Police at Chilean Consulate (October 21st, 2019)
Hundreds of people concentrated on Monday afternoon in front of the consulate of Chile in Buenos Aires, Argentina in support of the insurrection against the Chilean state. At the end of the demonstration, a group of anarchist revolutionaries began throwing stones and molotovs at the police. Some bourgeois journalists were also attacked by the militants.
The march had been organized by leftist militants to express their rejection of the adjustment applied by Sebastián Piñera and the repression that left 11 dead. As a result of the incidents in downtown Buenos Aires, at least nine people were arrested and three were injured.

Again the media show raises its indignant voice, they speak of infiltrators, of Kichnerism and of the left, any issue that manages to divert attention from the conflict, excuses abound with the elections, again the damn elections, but never the rebellion, never Freedom. We all know that on the other side of the mountain range they are killing our compañerxs, the rebels who face police and military, who have rifles and machine guns pointing directly at them, choose to build barricades, grab stones, fuel and their hoods.
Faced with this climate, we chose to step forward, face to face with those who steal our lives daily, or did they forget that the police kill someone every 24 hours in Argentina? It is extremely hypocritical that those who say they stand in solidarity with a social revolt defend the police, the banks and the press. What solidarity do they talk to us about? That is nothing more than political use of circumstances to go to hang their flags again when the next day they return to their well-off neighborhoods and their hierarchical logics.
The revolt knows no boundaries because the essence of the States is the same, that of domination and exploitation. Those who say that the context is not the same only speak from privilege; they do not know what it is to see how the salary disappears in two minutes, spend your life at work and lower your head every time you have to hop on the pinwheel, they don’t know what it is to be sprayed, eat poison or be squeezed by the police.
These words are for the rebels who still dream of a really different world, not for those who sing that “the bullets are going to be returned” and then defend the bourgeois press that lies and criminalizes us every day. They even call them “TV workers.” What opposition are they talking about? These words are for those who want to take control of their lives; we are not interested in flags or representatives; on the contrary, we believe in the autonomous revolt, without leaders, and in the face of empty speech that claims to be “anti-police” we reaffirm, take it to action and say that attacking the police is totally justified by this life of misery to which we are subjected.
