Anarchist comrades talk about the situation, struggles and repression in Argentina over the last few years. The info event will take place on September 15, 2017, 07:30pm (19:30) in Bollox, Eerste Schinkelstraat 14-16, Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Over the past year, especially following the arrest of the Mapuche lonko Facundo Jones Huala, the civilizing progress of the Argentinian and Chilean States has intensified its repression against the Mapuche population and against those those who have chosen to express their solidarity with those who maintain an antagonistic position against the
logics of the State and Capital.

In this context, on 1 August 2017, during an eviction from mapuche lands in Cushamen, the National Police arrested and made disappear the anarchist comrade Santiago Maldonado. Until this moment the comrade has not reappeared. The politicians and the media have taken advantage of this case to fill their screens, thus the morbid hypocrisy of citizens. At the same time, anarchists actions have increased, with the media coverage accusing anarchist groups and spaces.

The international call out and the proposal “to let rage overflow” is spreading across South America and among all those who believe that anarchist solidarity is much more than just written words.
