During the early hours of Monday May 2nd, 2016, anonymous hands left an explosive device at the perimeter wall of Cenpecar (National Police Training Center) located at #225-A Lo Errázuriz street in Cerrillo.
The loud explosion not only woke neighbors in the area but also destroyed part of an interior wall. GOPE (Special Operations Police) and Labocar (Forensic Science Police) arrived quickly with their specialized equipment to give their expert opinions on the attack.
No leaflets were left at the scene and so far no group has claimed responsibility for the attack which occurred a few days after Police Day on April 27, the day that celebrates the creation of this putrid institution in 1927.
