More than 40 people who were arrested during the NoG20 protests in Hamburg.are still imprisoned. Tomorrow there will be a solidarity gathering at the backside of the Holstenglacis prison in Hamburg. In Berlin there will be a video-gathering at July 28th, to denounce the lies of police- and other state authorities. The Liotru social center in Catania (Italy) started a crowdfunding campaign to support Italian prisoners Alessandro and Orazio. We also publish some adresses of NoG20 prisoners, write them (in Italian or English) but be aware that authorities will read your letter as well.

Three of the NoG20 prisoners are imprisoned in the UG Holstenglacis prison. Most NoG20 prisoners are imprisoned in the Billwerder prison, some also in the Hahnöfersand prison. Last week there was a solidarity gathering at the Billwerder prison, tomorrow people will protest at backside of the UG Holstenglacis prison in Hamburg.

In the Holstenglacis prison kurdish comrade Zeki Eroğlu is also imprisoned. Zeki is standing trial for his alleged support of the PKK at the moment and turkish comrade Musa Aşoğlu. Musa will probably be prosecuted for allegedly supporting the DHKP-C.

Tomorrows solidarity gathering will start at 03:00pm (15:00) at the backside of the UG Holstenglacis prison in the Jungiusstraße in Hamburg.

Mayor Olaf Scholz is still insisting there was no police violence during the NoG20 protests in Hamburg. Scholz’s parallel society seems to be further away from reality than ever before. On Friday July 28th there will be a video gathering to denounce the lies of police- and other authorities about the NoG20 protests. The gathering will start at 08:30pm (20:30) at Heinrichplatz in Berlin-Kreuzberg.

The Liotru social center in Catania (Italy) started a crowdfunding campaign to support Italian prisoners Alessandro and Orazio. On the crowdfunding campaign page the Liotru social center writes: “The goal of German authorities was to stop and suppress any kind of dissent, with any mean. In fact, German police searched protesters in each corner of the city: along streets, parks, bars, camping. Many people were arrested without any plausible reason: it was enough to speak in Italian, French or Spanish to be arrested. Nothing else. During such “manhunt/womenhunt”, two guys from Catania, Alessandro and Orazio, were arrested with other foreigners. The detention has been confirmed for both them and also three other Italian guys, an Italian girl and tens of foreigners. They have to stay in jail, in Hamburg, till the begging of the process, but we still don’t know when it will begin and the exact alleged crimes. We also asked to a judge to let Alessando and Orazio go out from the jail and come back in Italy, but the judge confirmed the detention again few days ago.” Read the full statement and donate here.
