An invitation to resistance
Greetings comrades and friends.
Projects that are built from a position of confrontation and conflict travel through waters of constant change and innovation.
Since the beginning of Biblioteca Kaos, we knew that when you build an occupied space, you choose this possibility.
A few days ago, they arrived at our door with the order to evict the home where we live, and where we run the library, the natural pharmacy and many other activities where we meet and conspire together. The eviction is scheduled for August 4th, with a judicial order authorizing the police to make effective the reintegration of ownership.
This year, two other squats were evicted – Semente and Kuna, others were born, and others resisted the eviction attempts with various strategies. The context is becoming more and more oppressive for squatting, however it also means – as was stated by a comrade from Nadir squat, that squatting represents a threat to the dominant order.
We are not going to make any kind of legal negotiation. For us the squat was and still is part of the political stance we proposed for the space and we will maintain this position. We believe that squatting is a praxis of confrontation against capitalism and domination, therefore legalizing a subversive praxis will not be our response. Also we are not going to use the truck, the workers nor the tools they announced they would let us use. The hands of those who oppress us will not write our destinies.
On the day of Thursday, August 4th at 8 in the morning, we will be here, ready for the confrontation. We will not leave the library before that day. We will defend the Kaos, our space for the expansion of anarchy.
We invite all those who struggle against authority, and feel an affinity with our space, to give strength to the space and to support us with your presence from the street.

Convite pra a resistência
Salve Companheirxs e amigxs.
Os projetos que se constroem desde uma posição de confronto e conflito percorrem por águas de constante mudança e inovação. A biblioteca Kaos, desde o início, ao se construir num espaço okupado, tinha esta possibilidade e escolha.
Faz uns dias, chegou até nossa porta a ordem de desalojo da casa onde moramos e onde levamos diante a biblioteca, a farmacinha natural, e muitas outras atividades, conspiras e encontros. O despejo foi marcado para o dia 4 de agosto de 2016 as 8 da manhã, com uma ordem judicial e a disposição da polícia para fazer efetiva a reintegração da posse.
Este ano, outras duas ocupações foram desalojadas, a Semente e a Kuna, Outras nasceram, e outras resistiram às tentativas de desalojo com várias estratégias. O contexto está ficando mais e mais opressivo para a okupação, porem isso também significa, como bem foi dito por um compa da okupa Nadir, que as okupações são um perigo para a dominação.
Nós não vamos fazer nenhum tipo de negociação judicial. Para nós a okupação era e é parte da proposta política do espaço e vamos manter essa posição. Acreditamos que a okupação é uma pratica de confronto contra o capitalismo e a dominação, em conseqüência, legalizar uma prática subversiva não vai ser a nossa resposta. Também não vamos a usar o caminhão, os empregados de mudanças, nem as ferramentas que anunciaram nos darão. As mãos dos que oprimem não vão escrever nossos destinos.
O dia 4 de agosto, quinta feira, às 8 da manhã, vamos estar aqui, preparadxs para o confronto. Não vamos deixar a biblioteca antes desse dia. Vamos defender a Kaos, nosso espaço de expansão da anarquia.
Convidamos a todxs que lutam contra a dominação, e se sentem afins pra lutar e dar uma força ao espaço, a nos apoiar com sua presença desde a rua.
Pelas Okupações em conflito, a única resposta… o confronto!
