On 21st and 22nd of May some anarchist individuals will be opening the Occupied Social Center Mauricio Morales, a place where future plans of incitement will be realized via talks, screenings of documentaries and films, anarchist magazines, fanzines, photography and painting exhibitions and presentations of texts and poetry, among other activities.
The intention of the Occupied Social Center Mauricio Morales is to agitate and construct ideas and praxis that are antagonistic towards power and to any form or expression of authority and domination.
We have decided to put this name to the space and to inuagurate it on that date as a gesture from our black memory and in remembrance of the compañero Mauricio “Punky Mauri” Morales, who fell in combat on May 22nd 2009 when the device he was carrying in his backpack prematurely detonated.

El próximo 21 y 22 de mayo algunos individuos anarquistas inauguraremos el Centro Social Okupado Mauricio Morales, un lugar donde se realizaran e incitaran a realizarTalleres, charlas, proyección de documentales y películas, presentación de libros, revistas ácratas, fanzines, exposiciones de fotografía y pintura, presentación de textos y poesía, entre otras actividades.
La intención del Centro Social Okupado Mauricio Morales es agitar/construir ideas y practicas antagónicas al poder y a cualquier forma y expresión de autoridad y dominación.
Hemos decidido ponerle ese nombre al espacio e inaugurarlo esa fecha como un gesto desde nuestra memoria negra y en recuerdo del compañero Mauricio Morales “Punky Mauri”, caído en combate el 22 de mayo del 2009, al fallar el artefacto que portaba en su mochila.
