On May 20 in Bydgoszcz, Poland, antifascists organized a ‘Say NO To Nationalism’ demonstration.
Just before the demonstration was due to begin, next to the Polski Theatre, where antifascists had started to gather, two fascist degenerates who are well known to local crew approached. By the time the blue uniforms realized what was happening and that racists were trying to disrupt the antifascists protest, the antifascists began to curse the arrivals and challenged them to a one on one fight but they rejected this proposal. The scumbags fled, looking like lost children. Ultimately they left in disgrace after being spat on. The police took down their personal details and let them go.
The demonstration began at 3PM and there was a decent number of demonstrators for a town this size, about 200 people attended.
During the march protestors shouted antifascist slogans such as ‘Bydgoszcz Free From Nationalism’ and ‘Alerta Alerta Antifascista!’.
Several fascist groups appeared along the route of the march and unsuccessfully tried to disrupt it. They abused the demonstrators and gave Nazi salutes.
The demonstration ended at the Monument to the Victims of Fascism, where the local Food Not Bombs group distributed food they had prepared earlier.
